Common Digs The Buckeye Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America wants you to know that our chapter is about keeping the American tradition of gold mining alive and common digs are a great way for the beginner and seasoned miner to get hands-on experience with different types of equipment. The digs are open to anyone who would like to experience real Gold mining. The digs are usually held once a month (during the season) and correspond to the chapter meeting days. There is a small fee to attend the dig and all the Gold recovered is split among the participants. This is a great opportunity to try some different equipment, fellowship with some great people and to get some real Ohio Gold. Click Here for some more images of the common digs.
